The Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County (“HBA”) will host its 32nd Annual
Installation Dinner and Scholarship Banquet from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday,
March 6, 2010 at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim.

In 2010, the HBA will be celebrating four decades in service of the OC legal community.
After 40 years, the HBA is coming of age as an organization; it is old enough to be an
important institution in our community, and young enough to depend on your support. Our
dinner also falls close to the 65th anniversary of the filing -- on March 2, 1945 -- of the
Mendez v. Westminster lawsuit, in Orange County, which is important civil rights legacy
and a precursor to the Brown v. Topeka Board of Education case. Therefore, the theme of
our dinner this year will be the legacy that the HBA stands for: “History Brought Alive.”

Additionally, the HBA will have the privilege of awarding Daisy Sanchez, Brenda Montes, Joel Crespo,
Elisa Briseño, and Flor de Maria Tataje the Wally Davis Memorial Scholarships.

Join us for the extensive Silent Auction where you will be able to bid on exciting items like sporting event tickets, electronics, hotel stays, fantastic wines and spirits, and a host of other great items with the funds raised from the Silent Auction helping support the Wally Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This historic and memorable night will give way to the festive ambiance that the HBA is renown for!  Our guests will be treated to the fabulous Cumbia/Salsa sounds of La Internacional Sonora Show.  Bring your dancing shoes and be prepared to stay after the program to celebrate like only the HBA can!
