Re:         Hon. Joshua Groban's Nomination for California Supreme Court, Associate Justice

On behalf of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association ("HBA"), we are pleased to convey this organization's support for Joshua Groban's nomination to serve as Associate Justice on the California Supreme Court. As Governor Brown's Judicial Appointment Secretary, Mr. Groban has worked tirelessly to appoint fine jurists to the bench not just in Orange County, but statewide. Notably, in the last two years, he has demonstrated the Governor's dedication to diversifying the court, by seeking out and vetting a significant number of Latinx judges in our county. His wisdom, temperament, and courage to do the right thing will make him a tremendous asset to the highest court in our great state. We wish him well and a speedy confirmation.
